The Center for Women’s Health & Wellness brings together OB/GYN physicians and midwives with specialists in maternal fetal medicine and genetic testing.
Through our affiliation with Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Mass General Brigham our patients also benefit from state-of-the-art care in breast health, cancer care and more.
Our maternal-fetal medicine services offer prenatal and adult genetic counseling, including cardiovascular, neurologic, gastrointestinal, and other adult genetic diseases. A genetic counselor can meet with a person or family that may be at risk for an inherited disease or abnormal pregnancy outcome.
Genetic counselors provide information and offer support by simplifying genetic concepts into useful information. The information provided in a session can help individuals make informed and personal decisions about their own health, their pregnancy, and genetic testing.
The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Center for Women’s Health & Wellness offers a new model for women’s healthcare on the Seacoast. The center brings together expert OB/GYN physicians and midwives, along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.
