Wentworth Health Partners Internal Medicine is a comprehensive primary care practice specializing in the care of adults over the age of 18 and geriatric care.
You will have a personal relationship with your care team - which includes your doctor or nurse practitioner, nurse care managers and certified medical assistants, pharmacists, behavioral health specialists, social workers and patient service representatives.

If you need immediate care for a sickness or minor injury, call the office to schedule a same-day appointment. Every effort will be made to schedule an appointment with a member of your care team that day.
You may also choose to visit Prompt Care — a walk-in center staffed by Wentworth Health Partners primary care providers. Locations in Dover and Portsmouth/Pease offer expert care for your minor illness or injury right away, for the cost of an office visit.
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital offers lab services, blood work, x-rays and cardiovascular testing at five convenient locations in Dover, Lee & South Berwick. Services and hours vary by location. Visit the hospital’s Patient Testing Centers page for more information.
Prescription refills requests can be made through the Patient Portal, by calling our office or by contacting your pharmacy directly. Refill requests can take up to 48 hours to fulfill. Please plan ahead so your refills are available when you need them.
We provide Medicare Annual Wellness Exams. Please contact the practice if you have any questions regarding this exam and eligibility or to schedule an appointment. A Medicare Annual Exam Questionnaire should be filled out and brought with you to your Annual Wellness appointment.
Wentworth Health Partners is pleased to provide Effective Communication Aids and Services to our patients who are deaf/hard of hearing, need visual aids and services, or who have limited English proficiency. These auxiliary aids and services are available free of charge. Please notify the practice of any special communication or language needs so that we can adequately update this information in your medical record.
