Spaulding Gymnastics Pink Meet to Benefit the Seacoast Cancer Center

For the past several years, the Spaulding High School Gymnastics team has hosted its annual Pink Meet which raises money and awareness for breast cancer.  This year the competition will take place on December 30th at Tri Star Gymnastics and Dance in Dover, NH at 12:30 pm.  T Shirts and raffle baskets can be purchased at the venue and all proceeds from the meet will go to benefitting The Seacoast Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.  Going into our fifth year hosting this meet, we have raised $1500 and hope to grow more this year.

This meet is especially important to me as my aunt passed away from breast cancer a little over two years ago.  Watching her go through the treatments with such courage really helped open my eyes to how serious cancer is and how important it is to raise awareness.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to raise money and make a difference in the development of breast cancer treatment through doing the sport I love.

Please come out and support our local gymnastics teams as we stick it to cancer.
