Rivals on the ice now, former teammates skate for a great cause

Several members of the St. Thomas Aquinas and Dover High School boy’s hockey team grew up playing hockey together in the Dover Youth Hockey Association.  On January 16th, it was the first time that many of these same players faced each other as opponents when St. Thomas and Dover faced off for a regular season game. The game was an exciting game to watch with the Greenwave edging out the Saints by a score of 2-1.

Although rivals on the ice, the two programs have partnered together to raise funds to support Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s Seacoast Cancer Center.   The first game was a success and the teams will face off once again on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dover Ice Arena.

Help the teams paint the rink Pink by joining us for the Eighth Annual Skate for a Cure.  Participate in raffles or silent auctions, enjoy bake sale items and much more!
