Thanks to our community of runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and neighbors, the 3rd annual Seacoast Cancer 5K was a huge success! More than 2,100 people gathered at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital to rally in support of patients and families throughout the Seacoast impacted by cancer. The energy, comradery and team spirit was remarkable.
As of today we garnered more than $247,000 in support and contributions are still coming in. One hundred percent of every dollar raised from the Seacoast Cancer 5K goes directly to support cancer care on the Seacoast making the very best cancer care available right here in our community. This is all possible because of generous people like you. As the Seacoast Cancer 5K continues to grow so does the impact of what we are able to accomplish. This year we made history as the largest 5K in Dover history and the largest single day fundraiser for Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Good things happen, thanks to you.
