About Lucy

"I have been a midwife for over 20 years now! I attended my first birth when I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon West Africa. I speak French and a bit of Spanish. My favorite part about being a midwife is getting to know women and their families during annual exams and then during pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. Because humans gestate for so long, it gives us plenty of time to get to know each other! It is my goal to make sure that women have the information they need to make healthy choices for themselves regarding their healthcare. There is no greater honor than being with women as they negotiate pregnancy and make their transition to motherhood!"
