Our Courtesy Shuttle brings patients and visitors to and from our parking garage, stopping at the main entrance and the Mass General Cancer Center on our Dover campus.
Patients and visitors age seven and up may ride the shuttle. The shuttle accommodates five passengers, with room for walking aids such as a cane or walker.
The Courtesy Shuttle circles the second level of the parking garage Monday through Friday from 8 - 4 p.m. (Note: Please look for our signs at the entrance of Level 2 and/or the designated drop off locations for important updates regarding shuttle availability.)
To request a return trip, patients may notify the Guest Relations team at the main hospital entrance or the Mass General Cancer Center patient access team.
You may park your vehicle free of charge in any of our parking areas. For the parking garage, use the entrance located at the middle of the garage across from the Main Entrance of the hospital. The road level of the garage is reserved for patients and visitors, but you may park anywhere.
There is an additional parking lot at the entrance for the Emergency Department.
Short term 90-minute parking is available in the lot in front of the South and Garrison Entrances.
Wheelchairs are available at all patient entrances. Wheelchair assistance and escorts are available at the Main Entrance for those who may have difficulty walking.
The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Care-Van offers courtesy transportation to eligible patients receiving extended treatments at the hospital, including cancer treatments, physical therapy and wound healing.
A COAST Bus (Route 2) stop is located in front of the hospital on Central Avenue. Visit the COAST Bus website for schedules and route details.
