Granite Health has announced Gregory J. Walker, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital as its board chair following the retirement of Thomas E. Wilhelmsen, Jr. Walker is a founding member of Granite Health and has provided valuable insight to the organization since its inception in 2011.
“We are excited to have Greg serve as our board chair. He has been a leader and advocate for Granite Health since our founding and has played an integral role in advancing our mission by embracing innovative ideas that continue to improve health care delivery in our state,” said Rachel Rowe, President and CEO at Granite Health.
Granite Health’s Board of Directors is comprised of the CEOs who represent each of Granite Health’s member health systems including Joseph Pepe, MD at Catholic Medical Center, Robert P. Steigmeyer at Concord Hospital, Kevin W. Donovan at LRGHealthcare, Michael Rose at Southern New Hampshire Health, and Gregory J. Walker at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
