The Same Day Surgery Unit provides individual and comprehensive care for same-day surgery patients. Featuring private pre-op and post-op rooms as well as state-of-the-art operating rooms everything has been designed to maximize your comfort. To better meet the needs of pediatric patients, a parent may be allowed to accompany their child during the anesthesia induction phase to make the surgical experience less stressful.

Additionally as with all surgeries, the Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit supports the safe and rapid recovery of patients who have received an anesthetic. Blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, EKG etc. are observed and monitored. Patients are closely observed to assure that pain control and psychological needs are met.

The Same Day Surgery Unit offers the same high level of care with board-certified surgeons and qualified staff in an outpatient setting. Typical procedures may include skin biopsies, cataract surgery, sinus surgery and other ENT procedures, arthroscopy, hernia repair and gynecological procedures.
