Speech Therapy
The Speech Therapy Department treats inpatients and outpatients with disorders related to aphasia, articulation, stuttering, voice, hearing loss and laryngectomy. Cognitive therapy is provided to head injured and other neurologically impaired patients. Evaluation/treatment of children with speech/language disorders is also available. The department works in conjunction with the Radiology Department in providing videofluoroscopy for evaluation of patients with swallowing disorders.
