NEONATAL NURSERY
The Level II Neonatal Nursery is formally affiliated with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. This contract establishes weekly on-site visits and 24-hour telephone consultative services with neonatalists and perinatal nurses from Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Newborns who require this higher level of care can receive it at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and stay closer to their families.

LACTATION SERVICES
The Birth Center’s certified lactation consultants teach techniques to enhance successful breastfeeding and provide support for mothers prenatally and throughout the duration of the breastfeeding experience.
