The Endoscopy Unit at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital consists of registered nurses (RNs) and endoscopy technicians highly skilled in the delivery of specialized care to patients suffering from disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. The Endoscopy nursing staff is a cohesive and dynamic group, bringing individual skills and talents that blend and complement one another. All of the Endoscopy nurses are ACLS certified and some have attained the title of CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse) from the national nursing organization, The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates.

Endoscopy provides diagnostic, as well as therapeutic, care to our outpatient and inpatient population. Our procedures include Colonoscopy, EGD, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Esophageal Motility Studies, Bravo pH monitoring studies, Liver biopsies and more.
