Smoking Cessation Counseling is now available through the Pulmonary Medicine Department at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Individual counseling sessions are provided by Respiratory Care Practitioners with specialized training in motivational interviewing and wellness coaching.
Medicare and most insurance companies provide payment for up to eight visits per year. Support group sessions are also available. Please contact your primary care physician if you are interested in this program at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Centralized Scheduling at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital will be able to schedule patients with a physician’s order.
