The annual 1906 Heritage Society Luncheon was held on June 25 at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm. The event is held to honor those individuals that have named WDH in their estate plans. Over forty guests were in attendance to see three new members inducted into the 1906 Heritage Society.
This year’s guest speakers were Sheila Woolley, RN, VP of Patient Care Services, Kim Chapman, RN and Jana Otis, RN. Their presentation was entitled, “Transforming Patient Care at the Bedside.” In the past, attendees have heard about the state-of-the-art technology the Hospital has brought to the Seacoast. This presentation focused on the revolutionary approach the Hospital has taken in providing patient care.
The first honoree was Nancy R. Boyle who was honored for including the Hospital in a trust. The second was an anonymous gentleman who also was honored for naming the Hospital the beneficiary of a trust. Both of these gifts are unrestricted. Maryann Wentworth was the third to be honored for naming the Hospital as the beneficiary of her will to support Children’s Care Projects.
