Northeast Delta Dental Foundation awards $5,000 grant to Dental Center
Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded a grant of $5,000 to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital & Health Foundation to support the Wentworth-Douglass Community Dental Center for the replacement of dental instruments and the purchase of new surgical instruments. This support allows the Dental Center to continue to provide access to oral healthcare for underserved community members.
“Our board members were unanimously in favor of awarding this grant,” said Kathleen B. Walker, APR, who directs the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation. “Purchasing supplies and equipment for dental clinics is one of our primary funding areas. We’re extremely pleased to partner with the Wentworth-Douglass Community Dental Center financially to help it meet oral health needs in its service area.”
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital & Health Foundation is grateful for Northeast Delta Dental Foundation’s financial support of the Dental Center. The Dental Center provides dental care for low-income families living in the hospital’s primary service area: Dover, Durham, Madbury, Lee, Barrington, Somersworth, Rollinsford, NH and Berwick and South Berwick, Maine. The Center is also open to patients of Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation offices, the Seacoast Cancer Center and the Wound Healing Institute.
