WDH assists with Health Insurance Marketplace applications
WDH offers information and assistance to apply for the Health Insurance Marketplace
In an effort to help community members learn more about the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Marketplace (Exchange), Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is offering the assistance of Certified Application Counselors to answer questions and guide community members to appropriate resources.
Onsite Health Insurance Marketplace Assistance is available Monday through Friday at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Registration Room #3 (off the main lobby) from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and at the Financial Assistance Office, located at 121 Broadway in Dover from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by calling740-3342.
The Health Insurance Marketplace is a new way to find quality health coverage. It is available for individuals who do not have insurance or are looking for lower cost insurance. With one application, you can learn if you qualify for tax credits or discounts based on your annual income. The application process will also tell you if you qualify for low or no cost coverage through Medicaid.
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Wentworth Health Partners medical practices and our affiliated PHO providers are part of the Anthem network, the qualified health plan in New Hampshire’s Marketplace.
