Internal Medicine physician, Jackeline Gomez, MD, has joined the staff at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth Health Partners Dover Internal & Geriatric Medicine practice.
Most recently Dr. Gomez served as a Primary Care Provider at the US Army Garrison in Schweinfurt, Germany. While there she served as Medical Director involved in coordinating care with German colleagues from the community for the benefit of patients and assisted in their Joint Commission accreditation survey. She also served as the sole medical provider for the Warrior Transition Unit and was appointed as reviewer for potential drug abuse cases.
Prior to her service in Germany, Dr. Gomez was the team leader and primary care provider for the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Viera, Florida.
Dr. Gomez received her medical degree at the Medical Sciences Campus, University of Puerto Rico, San Juan, PR; completed an internship at Guthrie Clinic, Sayer, PA and a residency in internal medicine at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC. She is Board Certified by the American board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Gomez was born in Brooklyn, NY and is fully bilingual in English/Spanish.
