The annual Wentworth-Douglass Hospital & Health Foundation Golf Tournament held Sept. 13, 2011 at Cochecho Country Club, netted $44,842 - $34,842 to support the new Women & Children’s Center currently under construction at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and an additional $10,000 donated by major sponsor Siemens to support Diabetes Programs for Kids.
As the Seacoast’s busiest Birth Center, WDH is experiencing space and privacy constraints. The new Women & Children’s center will provide separate and private areas for multiple levels of infant care in an environment to support the needs of the newborns, their moms, dads and the entire family.
