2010 The Heart Disease Prevention & Lipid Center now open
The Heart Disease Prevention & Lipid Center specializes in the treatment of patients with complex, abnormal blood lipids (fatty substances in the blood) and uncontrolled high cholesterol.

The clinical services of the center include a board-certified Clinical Lipidologist, nutrition referral and assessment, fitness specialist referral and assessment and advanced laboratory and radiology services.

Lipid specialists work as a multi-disciplinary branch of medicine focusing on lipid metabolism and their associated disorders. A team of medical doctors, nurses, dietitians and fitness specialists work collaboratively to treat the entire spectrum of lipid disorders.

The Center can also help individuals who are already diagnosed with heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and would like to improve the odds of not having a heart attack or stroke. Also, anyone who has a family history of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, hypertension and cholesterolor anyone who has been unable to lower LDL cholesterol to a normal level after six months to one year of treatment would benefit from visiting the Center.
