Through a unique collaboration, pediatric specialists from Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) travel to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital to provide services and follow-up care for children. Whether you have a child with a chronic illness who currently needs to travel long distances for care, or you are coming to see us to investigate an issue further, the CHaD medical professionals are dedicated to providing you with excellent care and treatment options. CHaD providers are constantly researching new techniques and cures for diseases through innovative technology and the education of the next generation of pediatric providers.
CHaD at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital currently provides services in pediatric cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and genetics. Additional specialties will be added as the Center grows.
We also offer various programs throughout the year for children to enjoy. Some of these programs are offered to children with specific diagnoses and some are open to all. Since we opened, we have offered a kayaking day, several types of art classes and therapeutic horseback riding. Check our calendar to see what is currently available.
