Professional Ladder

Move on up! We have opportunities for Nursing, Imaging Services, Patient Access, Transcription and Medical Coding.

Job Shadow

Are you curious about how another department works? Want to explore other job opportunities that exist at WDH? Well, look no further. New hires, in particular, are encouraged to embark on “field trips.” As goals are developed for each shadow experience through monitored objective learning, employees are encouraged to acquire better understanding and learn new skills.

Educational Loan Forgiveness

If you’re enrolled in specialty programs that support critical needs of WDH, you could get a loan of up to $2500/year toward your tuition or education expenses. You’re eligible after only 3 months at WDH and for each year of the loan. We require a 2 year commitment after graduation.

Tuition Reimbursement

No kidding! In addition to Educational Loan Forgiveness, full time employees of WDH are also eligible for $3000/year after
their 1 year anniversary (pro-rated for regular part-time employees). Courses must be job-related and natural to your career progression at WDH.

On-site RN to BSN Program and MHA Programs

Get your degree from a local university without having to leave the WDH campus! We’ve coordinated with a local university to offer both on-site learning opportunities for those pursuing either a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an MHA (Masters in Health Administration) degree. These programs foster camaraderie through close participation in a cohort environment where colleagues support one another, making it a shared learning experience.

Nursing Continuing Education

Various nursing contact hour courses are available for employees at no cost!  WDH Education/Organizational Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Hampshire Nurses’ Association Commission on Continuing Education, and accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission.

Scholarships through our Foundation

Scholarship opportunities are available to help current employees entering a nursing program or pursuing advanced nursing studies.

Professional Development & Personal Enrichment

Employees have the opportunity to learn new or improve existing skills through in-hospital programs such as Crucial Conversations, effective communication methods, values based customer service & stress management techniques.

Grow your leadership competency. Managers at WDH are encouraged to access information and resources to engage in effective leadership. Focus is on the following program areas: Managing for Excellence & Communicating for Success, Crucial Conversations, Coaching & Feedback, New Leader Assimilation.

Lean Six Sigma Training

Have a knack for project management and process facilitation? Green Belt training opportunities are available for employees who show an interest and share in our dedication to continuous process management.
