As part of the Women & Children's unit, our inpatient area serves over 300 children and families each year. You are encouraged to stay with your child during the entire visit. Amenities include open visiting hours, private patient rooms with sleeping couches, a security system, free Wi-Fi and meals available for parents/caregivers.
Nursing staff are skilled in the care of pediatric patients. Registered nurses have training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The services of our Child Life Specialist are available to address the unique developmental and coping needs of each patient, through play and diversional activities. The unit has a Play Room with activities and toys, a video game system and a variety of other diversional activites.
