Comprehensive Patient Conferences
The providers in the Spine Center meet biweekly with The Spine Center Coordinator, physical therapist, nurses and case managers, if necessary, to discuss patient care and progress. They also discuss the need for additional services and referrals for support services such as smoking cessation and nutrition

You should see a doctor if you experience:

  • Numbness or tingling
  • Severe pain that does not improve with rest
  • Pain after a fall or injury
  • Pain plus any of these problems
    • trouble urinating
    • weakness
    • fever
    • weight loss when not on a diet

How does neck or back pain get diagnosed?

To diagnose neck or back pain, your doctor will take your medical history and do a physical exam. 
Your doctor also may order tests, such as:

  • X-rays
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Computed tomography (CT) scan
  • Education
