At Wentworth Douglass Hospital we understand that undergoing surgery is a major event in your life. That's why at The Joint Replacement Center we want to do everything we can to make your time with us as comfortable and as healing as possible.
Our hospital has a special unit dedicated specifically to the care of the knee and hip replacement patients. Casual attire is the order of the day. Patients are encouraged to wear their own clothes rather than hospital gowns, and patients and families take part in group meals, activities and other social interaction. Even exercise is conducted in a group setting, so that patients can benefit from the support and encouragement from their new friends at the center.
