Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's Walk-In Urgent Care in Lee, NH is open day and evenings, 7 days per week. The Urgent Care facility is a walk-in clinic, fully staffed by specialty trained physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants. No appointments are necessary — just walk in and receive care when you need it.

The Urgent Care staff provides high quality comprehensive medical care for non-life threatening illness or injury. We "fill the gap" between your primary physician and the Emergency Department. Urgent Care provides medical attention for a large number of conditions that your primary physician may be unavailable or unable to treat, and when an Emergency Department visit is not warranted. Services are provided for the entire family.

In order to provide timely and accurate assessment and treatment for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, we have diagnostic capabilities that include x-ray services, EKG and point of care laboratory testing.

Urgent Care will provide services, but not limited to, the following issues:

  • Respiratory infections/illness
  • Ear complaints
  • Nasal complaints
  • Eye complaints
  • Dental complaints
  • Soft tissue infections
  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Skin complaints
  • Gastrointestinal complaints
  • Genitourinary complaints
  • Musculoskeletal complaints
  • Headache/minor head injury
  • Fever evaluation

Urgent Care is NOT a substitute for emergency care. Serious or life-threatening issues should be treated in the emergency department. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department if you are experiencing:

  • Chest pain/pressure
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Seizures
  • Severe burns
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Weakness
  • Numbness in the face, arm or leg
  • Severe headaches
  • Vomiting blood
  • Deep cuts or severe bleeding
